  • 2 cups (260 grams) all purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 8 tablespoons (115 grams or 1 stick) very cold unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup (175 ml) very cold shaken buttermilk, plus more as needed
  • Extra butter and flaky salt or coarse sugar for tops of biscuits, optional
