- 1 ½ cups (355ml) vinegar (5% acidity)
- 3/4 cup (150g) sugar
- 1 tablespoon pickling spice, see notes
- 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon peppercorns
- 1 ½ tablespoons (23g) pickling salt or sea salt, recommend using weight
