Ingredient:
- 6 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 tablespoons minced fresh ginger (thumb-size piece of ginger)
- 1 cup chicken or vegetable stock
- 2 tablespoons dark soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Shaoxing wine, substitute dry sherry or mirin, see tips
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper
