Ingredient:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 pounds yellow onions (about 4 onions), thinly sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons water, as needed
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons dry sherry
  • 1/2 teaspoon beef bouillon paste (such as Better Than Bouillon Roasted Beef Base)
