Ingredient:
- 1 ½ tablespoons olive oil
- 3/4 cup minced onion, 1 small onion
- 2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
- 4 cups (946ml) chicken broth, veggie broth, or water
- 1 bay leaf
- 3 sprigs fresh thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt or more to taste
- 1/8 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
- 1 ½ cups polenta (dried)
- 4 ounces (113g) mascarpone
- 1 cup (236ml) whole milk
