Ingredient:

  • 2 (15oz) cans fire-roasted tomatoes or use 4 cups chopped fresh tomatoes (1 ¾ pounds)
  • 1/3 cup chopped white or sweet onion
  • 2 medium cloves garlic
  • 1 to 2 medium jalapeño or serrano peppers
  • 1 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 to 2 medium limes
  • 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt, plus more to taste
