For my rosemary gin fizz, we use homemade rosemary simple syrup to put an herbal spin on the classic gin fizz cocktail. You can substitute other herbs for the rosemary. Think mint or basil!
Ingredient:
- 2 ounces (4 tablespoons) gin
- 1/2 ounce (1 tablespoon) fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 ounce (1 tablespoon) rosemary simple syrup, recipe below
- 3 ounces (6 tablespoons) club soda
- Lemon slice, optional
- 1 rosemary sprig, optional
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
