Ingredient:

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter, cubed and chilled
  • 1/4 cup ice water
  • 2 teaspoons distilled white vinegar
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup packed dark brown sugar
  • Pinch of kosher salt
  • 2 sticks cold unsalted butter, cubed
  • 3 pounds Mountain Rose or Granny Smith apples—peeled, cored and cut into 1/3-inch-thick wedges
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
